Tidy Towns Results

A big well done to the efforts of the Cross Tidy Towns group of volunteers. The Tidy Towns Judges were hugely impressed with the improvements in the village on previous years. They made particular reference to the beautiful visual impact all the planting has made on entry to the village, to the widespread use of pollinator friendly plants and to the inclusion of the village orchard. The also commended the volunteers and the residents in general for the upkeep of the village and encouraged the same level going forward. They also included many tips for the coming year.

Remember anyone is welcome to join the Tidy Towns group. It is a wonderful, gentle and friendly way to get to know your neighbours while giving back to the community.
