Playground Refurbishment

Last year, in 2021, the committee secured funding of €44,000 from the Department of Rural and Community Development through the CLÁR Programme. This funding was for an upgrading and refurbishment of the playground and its equipment. The committee sought the very important opinions of the children of the local national school, St Cuans, on the choice of new equipment - the total cost of refurbishment will be around €50,000 - the shortfall will be covered by the Annual Mega Draw which ran this summer - thank you to all.
