Loop Head Cottage

A few years ago, this building, in the heart of Kilbaha Village, was donated to Kilballyowen Development CLG for use in the community. It was decided to turn it into a self catering cottage.

A big project followed that involved local builders, local tradesmen and local suppliers where possible, to do the renovation work. The building was very sensitively and beautifully renovated from what once was an office building, to a gorgeous self catering cottage.

With two en-suite bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs (one of which can be converted into a sensory room for children or adults with autism or other special needs), a fully accessible downstairs bathroom and wet room, a gorgeous kitchen diner, and cosy stove, this fully equipped modern cottage sleeps 8.

Located at the top of the hill in Kilbaha village, only a moments walk from the beach, from Keatings Bar and from the playground, the cottage immediately became a hugely popular retreat for returning locals and visitors alike.
